With our highly-competent team of designers and wood working engineers, we have successfully completed international building projects for luxury hotels, public facilities, restaurants and custom residences in some of the most challenging physical and building code environments in the world.
Founded 1997 in Indonesia under European ownership, we started as a pioneer in the development of luxury, engineered prefabricated wooden houses. Lumber is directly purchased from government certified, managed forest concessions. The raw timbers are milled and kiln dried in our own factory to strict standards. Our primary timber is bangkirai hardwood (shorea laevis), which is known in Southeast Asia and Australia for its structural strength, dimensional stability, extreme resistance to insects (superior to treated lumber), fire resistance , straight grain and beautiful golden to walnut and reddish brown tones.
Our core factory for wooden prefabricated houses is set up for the production of structural, framing and trim components, as well as the prefabrication of entire structures. We build post and beam designs with structural shear wall panels fastened with custom designed and fabricated, bolted stainless steel hangers, brackets, connectors and plates that are engineered to exceed building code requirements for shear, seismic and wind loads. Components are labeled, packed, insured and then container shipped worldwide.
Using this system we have completed projects for luxury hotels, public facilities, restaurants and custom residences in some of the most challenging physical and building code environments in the world, including Tahiti, France, Germany, New Caledonia, and Mauritius.
In addition to prefabricated houses, we have developed several direct partnerships with major Indonesian factories specializing in finish building components including flooring, decking, doors, wood profiles, veneer work, natural stone, roof tiles, metal works, hardware and fixtures.
