I just received this bamboo mat in the mail today so while I cannot comment on its durability, I can say that it is a really cute, island-style decorative piece that exceeded my expectations. The quality seems quite high in terms of craftsmenship and the rug has a nice rubber backing to it so it looks like it will stay easily in place. The green is a nice soft color, also. For a clearance price of under 8 dollars this is one of the best bargains I've found in a while.

Well, for seven dollars it is a nice rug. I certainly wouldn't have paid the original price for it. It is a simple bamboo rug, nothing special.
