The tongs were a bit stiff, but I used WD40 to loosen the joints. They were longer that what I wanted, but the price was right. The only negative was that the shipping cost was more than the cost of the product.

We decided to look online for fireplace tongs since they were not available locally. We have used them once since we rec'd them and they work great. No problem moving wood around in the fireplace. They were also a great price. The only problem I have with ordering online is the high cost of shipping. It is kind of annoying to pay more for shipping than the item itself cost
