At two feet long (24 by 3-3/4 by 1-1/4 inches, length by width by depth), it won't fit just anywhere--you may want to consider Good Earth's two-light model (#G9112-WH-I) if you're looking to mount to a smaller space. The unit is easy to install--simply mount the bar, plug it in, and you're done (you'll probably want to use a mounting tacks or wire guides to tuck the power and transformer cords out of the way).
